Emmanuel Fombu, MD MBA

Emmanuel Fombu, MD, MBA, is a physician, author, speaker and healthcare executive turned Silicon Valley entrepreneur. As a medical futurist and 2017 winner of the prestigious New York City Health Business Leaders Boldest Digital Health Influencer Award, Dr. Fombu champions the potential for the internet of things, artificial intelligence and machine learning to revolutionize the healthcare industry.

 

Imre Varju, MD PhD MPH

 

Imre Varju, MD, PhD, MPH, is a Fulbright scholar in molecular medicine and a fresh graduate of Columbia’s Master of Public Health program with a certificate in Health Communication. While he is still actively publishing in the field of molecular cardiovascular medicine, lately his interest has been focused on health and science communication and health behavior change. In cooperation with a data-driven public health NGO, the Public Good Projects, he helped develop an AI-based chat-bot to tackle the opioid crisis. He is currently working in healthcare marketing as a Health Education Strategist at FCB Health, where he uses health behavior models and health literacy principles to design effective healthcare advertising campaigns.
