Talk title: Designing next generation immune therapeutics
She received her Masters degree in Chemistry from Eötvös Loránd University in Budapest, Hungary. She completed graduate studies at Georgetown University and at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, where she received her doctorate in Biophysics. She held various research and faculty positions at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York. She is currently Chief Scientific Officer of a biotech startup researching treatments for cancer and autoimmunity. Her talk will focus on the history of immuno-oncology and on recent efforts to design second-generation immune therapies for cancer and autoimmunity.
